Canyon Explorer - Half Day

Description

The trip begins at the Adventure Centre in Queenstown where you’ll meet the guides in our departure lounge. Here, we share pre-trip safety information and check your suitability for the trip. After being fitted with canyoning gear and having a safety briefing, your guides will lead the group through beautiful, ancient beech forest to the start of the canyon. We descend and explore the canyon by zip line, abseiling (rappelling) waterfalls, slides, plunging into natural pools, floating down narrow passageways and cascading down chutes – all in beautiful natural surroundings. It’s an awesome and exhilarating feeling. You can choose the level of challenge you want throughout the trip – our guides will instruct you through every adventure! No previous canyoning experience is required but you should be confident in moving water and have a reasonable level of fitness. Duration: Half day. What to bring: Swimwear and a towel. We also recommend you wear a thermal layer (polypro or merino). Our helmets have GoPro mounts if you would like to bring your own. Booking information: Please ensure the date and time you select when booking is the correct date for your travel and note that your driver guide will book you in for specific dates and times with the supplier.
