Get ready for the ultimate way to experience Franz Josef’s wilderness on our Kayak & Walk Tour. Explore Lake Mapourika and Westland's ancient rainforest, untouched and waiting to be discovered with exclusive access to our very own custom-built rainforest trail in the incredible Rowi Kiwi Conservation area. Prepare for a crash course in kiwi conservation while spotting native birdlife. As you venture your kayak tour guide will treat you to a cup of tea or coffee. + Free photos included with each tour! Duration: 4 hours. Departure times: 8:30am or 2pm. What to bring: A snack, a water-bottle, camera (if you want your own photos as well as our FREE photos), sunglasses and sunscreen. We recommend no denim, just comfortable pants and footwear. Booking information: Please ensure the date and time you select when booking is the correct date for your travel and note that your driver guide will book you in for specific dates and times with the supplier. Note that this is a weather dependent activity. If the activity does not go ahead we will arrange a new date/time or a full refund for you.
