Swimming with Dolphins

Imagine being eye to eye with a dusky dolphin! Often described as a life-changing experience; snorkeling with the pod of dolphins you will take away some magical memories. It is something incredibly special that wild animals choose to engage one to one with swimmers in the water. The Dusky dolphins in Kaikoura are probably the most interactive dolphin species; we don’t know why, and this sense of mystery makes the engagement with them all the more extraordinary! This bucket list activity is very sought after and often sells out in the summer months so we recommend advance booking to avoid disappointment. Duration: 3 hours. What top bring: Swimsuit, towel, warm clothing such as a jacket and a hat, and a small bag for your clothing on board the boat. Sunblock, sunhat. Towels can be hired.
